How much water did you put in the pressure cooker?
-
You can totally hear the whispering, may as well just talk normally.

great job thanks, take care

Do you ever put salt in the jar ?
-
What do the jars cost and the lids cost? Do you get lids from less expensive supplier? I hate tossing food we toss so many tomatoes that we don't eat in salid because we buy them and don't make the salids, These tomatoes can be prepared like this and we would have them for spaghitti we cook regularly.
What I would like to know is what would be a good price for jars in their differnt sizes.

With that much water in the cooker you are steam canning? How long did you let them go in the cooker for?

How do you store them and how long it can be stored? TY
SKTPSY 2 years ago
You can just store them in your pantry or basement, anywhere that is cool and dry is fine.
The rule of thumb is it will last for up to a year.
You can look at the homesteadacres channel for more information, they do a lot more canning then I do.

So, do we have to throw away lids once they are used?
SKTPSY 2 years ago
Yes, they can only be used once every canning process.
