Here's my official Spy Guide Video! I've been working on this for a while, and have far too much content for just one video. I've decided to make a multitude of videos focused on the Spy. This is the first of many, and I hope you enjoy. This coincides with my GameFaqs Spy Guide that many of you may have already seen or read. Feel free to comment, I hope this helps you to improve your Spy game! Thanks!

For the record, and I'm stating this because I've seen it questioned in the comments too frequently already...

Whilst fully cloaked (after one second into the cloaking sequence) it is fully safe to disguise. Disguising while fully cloaked will NOT display the "smoke" like effect to the enemy... While amongst the enemy, it's always advised that you disguise while cloaked. Unless however the coast is clear and it's safe for you to openly disguise.

@whatintheworld91 Exactly, so if you're disguised as a red spy in the red base, people are going to see you, wonder what you're doing here and not on the other side of the map, and naturally spy-check you.

@Blazimun1 True but your supposed to be around enemies or at least all alone, rule number 1 of being a spy never surround yourself with friends, keep your friends close and your enemies closer
