  • IT'S NOT TURKISH! it's GREEK REBETIKO! you adopted the greek byzantine music! because when you went to asia minor in 1453 you had no music and you adopted the byzanting greek music which has it's roots in pythagoras!

  • Ah Plaka! Fond memories of some good snacks here - a great place to consume calories lol.

    and no; didn't seem dangerous to me - I had dash through a slightly scarey looking Omonia Square late one night (makes you realise Plaka is fine!).

    Like any big city, say London/NewYork, don't stroll around waving your stuffed-full wallet in front of you!
