Very good!!!I loved it.

i actually like that idea... in my quintet my trombonist doubles on euphonium and switches appropriately to suit the tone of the song...
its just that conical vs. cylindrical thing that makes the trombone stick out...

two horns instead of a horn and trombone... interesting...

Well, we didn't have a trombonist handy. Well, my wife, but she has her own hobby. And the woman playing horn has an incredible lower range. So, it worked out pretty well especially on other pieces.

well thats pretty cool... its makes an interesting tonal blend for the particular piece...
ive heard this in traditional quintet... and quintet with a two trombones... but i think i like your instrumentations sound the best...
im also very impressed with the second horns low range... very quite clean...

Yeah. Nothing against trombonists. But, their sound can have a bit of a bite to it. The horn has a "rounder" sound to it. So, it worked out well.
We're currently working on resurrecting the group, though with a more traditional instrumentation. Though, more likely a euphonium rather than a trombone.
Nothing against trombonists. But, it all depends on the friends we make.
