  • How Blackmore is in DP in year 1984. Am I wrong, but were Blackmore on tour with rainbow in year 1984?

  • He did his final show with Rainbow somewhere in March. And this is December.

  • I worked in a restaurant that ritchie blackmore would come to from time to time; it was haunted so i heard

  • HAHAHAHA !!! Ritchie likes haunted places

  • THE LORD long live Jon LORD!!! don airey bah not that he is not a good player but purple had and will always have one keyboard player mr Lord everything else is a cover band

  • i still remember this gig. amazing night!

  • Longwhip. Is that what you called the cocks they were slapping you in the face with when you were "in the navy". Get the fuck out of here. And never insult Ritchie Blackmore"s guitar playing.

  • @longwhip You sir. Are a fucking idiot. And know nothing about music, or how to play any instrument. So please do yourself a favor and never reply to another Purple video. Have a quality day.

  • @longwhip dude you gotta be kidding to be so proud to denounce Ritchie's playing. he doesn't think himself better than the recorded version. I am sure at some shows he does play it note for note, but at others not. you don't think he can get lazy and sloppy if he wants to be? you haven't see other guitarists do the same?

  • @longwhip there is a video that features the album version of the solo. it's not really a performance video. it's the "official" video, a "mini movie" depicting a post apocalyptic scenario that has nothing to do with the lyric. i'd rather see a video about lucy (the dancer) and nancy (who was so fancy) myself.

  • @TheThedamo this song isn't about love. far from it. it's about lust, pure and simple. ian gillan presents two sexual scenarios in the lyric, but neither one involves true "love.". if anything, the song is a celebration of sex WITHOUT love.

  • Think Ritchie happy here because HE wanted Ian back in the band . . . then lol.

  • Wow - Ritchie is rockin' here!
