To me it feels like NIntendo introduced the 3DS as another "revolutionary" game system with very little negative points. They gave us that INCREDIBLE lineup, which made everyone instantly want one. But then...they start telling us these negatives. The probable issues with the 3D, the very limited amount of launch titles, effing friend codes, only two colors in US release, the expensive price, and worst of all, the battery life. At this point, I might just wait for the lite version...

@PyroTheFox Hmm... Yeah I totally see what you mean. They gave us all the good news at once and then drip fed us the bad news. Unfortunately, since the original influx of good news, there's not been much to add to the excitement, but there's been things to take away from it. Thus I expect a lot of people are going to be skipping the launch... Hmm...

I might wait for a green version... I think i'll be waiting a while! No i'm definitely getting one on launch, yes i'm a consumer whore.

i wish red was a launch color for it but ill probably get the black , it looks more stylish.

@GoKurtGo21 The red is ultra sexy. Given a choice between all three I think i'd still go for blue. The black one does look stylish but, it's like getting a black Gamecube, purple was where it was at because that was the colour the console was in by default. It's just more exciting and I like the separation it adds beween the two halves of the console.

Plus, my brother is getting the black one and I want to be able to tell mine apart. :P

@TheDaisyFeet The 3D issue I am referring to is the one Nintendo made about its plausible harm to your eyes as well as injuring the eyes of children. This is only a minor issue for now but we'll see where it goes. The launch title thing is just annoying, it doesn't really hurt the handheld itself, just when I will be buying it. Yes, the friend code system has improved...but it's still an arduous process looking up a 12-character code when a gamertag-like system would work perfectly.

@PyroTheFox I would say the only main point you have there is the battery life, I haven't heard any news on 3D issues but I won't argue with that one, but the bad launch lineup isn't really the worsth thing ever, also the whole system now has just 1 friend code it is just like having an online id, and yes the price is just nintendo being a business and trying to maximise profits, but eh doesn't really matter either way.
