Motown legends are rolling in to town for a national tour this month, the Motown 50 Event, which features the Temptations, the Four Tops, the Supremes and the Martha Reeves & the Vandellas. Fran talks to Martha about the 50-year anniversary of Motown music. We also hear her classic, 'Dancing in the Streets'.

The Motown 50 Event will be in Melbourne on February 16, Sydney on February 19, Brisbane on February 23 and WA on February 28.

Martha is such an intelligent, verbal and informed person. As big a star as she became with Motown, she always had much more to offer in her life and did. She is an acknowledged expert on soul, jazz and pop music. Her reputation as the label was that she could take any song, no matter how weak, and take it to a new level. And quickly! The other artists considered a world apart in her own way. Berry Gordy Jr. was good to her and was terrible to her. She survived very nicely thank you.
