It seems to me that there are people that just want Christian groups off the campus, period.

I've listened for an hour- I think there is cause for the student's concern, though administration implies the otherwise. The "nudge effect" seems to at work here. It sounds like an opening for lawsuits and discrimination against Christian values. I'm 61 and I don't trust the administration nor their dismissive attitudes towards the organizational concerns. I also don't trust higher education. I admire the students for taking a stand... There's hope for our country.

    What a stupid false premise.

A radical muslim will never become the head of Hillel house, nor will a Republican become head of the College democrats, because under the new policy, THERE IS STILL DEMOCRACY. Organizations just have to let everybody run you idiot.

Not a big deal. This is all so retarded.

Vanderbilt's administration has thrown common sense out the window. I feel sorry for these students. It's not just about the Christian students. This has the potential to disrupt the rights of students of all groups that assemble memberships based upon common interests and beliefs of the members.

That someone would join a group with the intention of changing the bedrock principles in its charter means that they ought to form a new group, or join a group on the opposing side. This policy makes way for piratical boarding of organizations by those who want to silence them, not for "equal opportunity" for all.
