If you are wondering why most of my videos require you to read the information instead of me narrating (speaking) the words... there is a very good reason for this. It is for the psychological aspect of how our minds perceive and retain information input. Most people when listening to audible information cannot process separate thoughts at the same time, because they process their thoughts in words (inaudible) in their mind.
Hence the reason you often hear 'ssshh I'm trying to think' However if we are watching something without sound, and someone is talking to us, we can process both without missing any information from either. Therefore while reading the information I'm putting forward in my videos, you are still able to process thoughts of your own at the same time without missing any information in the video. Also, most people recall things from their memories in a visual manor much easier than in an audible manor... for example: remember your first car?
Now I'll bet you just pictured your first car in your mind, the color etc. The way that car sounded was far from being the first thing to come to mind! This is simply how our minds work and remember things. We are more inclined to remember things much more vividly if they are input into our memories in a visual manor. This also allows us to not only remember what we saw, but also what we thought while we were seeing it! So this is why I have made my videos in this format and used background music and text instead of narration. It makes understanding and recalling the information much easier and much clearer for the viewer. I am sorry if you don't like this format of information, but it is much more effective than audible narration and that's why I have used this method.
