A few months ago I posted a video showing my rubber band crossbow firing all of the way across my huge lawn, but I did not show how to make it. So I have created this video to help anyone who wants to try to construct it.

what you need : bunch of nails, 2 blocks of wood same size , bunchof rubber bands, paint to make it look good, and a handfull of ghetoness

what kind and or color did you buy i found a quad 400 barnett corssbow stock and untill i can get a bow going i was gonna use surgical tubing i just need to know what would be best ;l

@bunnymansp I made a new, all-metal-frame bow that uses elastic tubing as the power storage medium. It works really well. I'll post a video soon. Tubing is definitely better than the rubber bands, go with that for sure.

how'd you get the gap in the middle?

@hohepaagee A router (no, not the WiFi things. The tool) would be the best way, but lacking a router, I used my Dremel rotary tool to form the groves, and then when I put the two peices of wood together I used a spacer while I drove the screws. I then removed this spacer once the screws were in place.
