Men have 27.8 million woman-hating gonzo porn movies online.
Women have one humorous, man-hating song.
Which do you choose to complain about?

@GTCism Do you know who wrote this song? Cole Porter...a MAN.

Don't people understand that the POV of a character isn't necessarily the POV of the author, anyway? I'm not sure I get the rampant debate here.
This looks like it would have been fun to see live.

My God I wish I'd seen this live! BRAVA!

@epicnashun Ok. Thank you, sir, for being civil. I apologize for using you as a scape goat. I understand, but I felt what I said needed to be said.

@AngryEmu9 I agree that you do have the right to complain, everyone does. My comment was meant towards the people who say men as in ALL men "go all over the internet saying women are cunts" as sunlight has said, and then complain when people complain about their unfair comments. What i was trying to say was all people have the right to complain, but not complain about one gender as a whole. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

@GTCism dude I just a movie!

@epicnashun Ok. So. Apparently, even though women have been treated poorly for the majority of the human's existence, we're not allowed to complain if people (read: men) are still saying bad things about us? Forgive me, but that's crazy talk. I think we deserve the right to complain about something that has just recently begun to change. I'm not denying that it is slightly sexist, but I just think you can cut us some slack. And we know not all men are the same. We do have brains.

Gees, they even have a misandrist musical, we are getting sicker evry day as a society. This is incredibly sexist and mean! When are feminist and women's groups going to stop their blaming all life's problems on men and start realizing men have it as hard or harder than women and really such musicals are attacking the victim more so than anything else. Sick! NOT FUNNY...

@GTCism Just FYI: Kiss Me Kate won the Tony Award for best musical in 1949, and this song sees the Shakespearean character of Katherina in "Taming of the Shrew" through a 1940's lens. (I actually just finished a run of "Taming of the Shrew" in northern California.) The ends of both the Shakespeare play and the American musical are actually *gasp* happy: a man & woman finally figuring out how to come together as partners and equals, learning how to take care of each other. So there you go. :)
