This video demonstrates the voxel render engine to generate procedural shapes on the fly.
In this example I show a test supposed to be chibaku tensei !
I have to randomize the way the sphere grows and add a few particle effects but so far it looks nice !

Upcoming : Shinra tensei !

  • This is retarded, they've been in "development" for YEARS and they show us this crap? I think they should leave it to the people who actually have university degrees in programming or game dev. school graduates.

  • @Cyrus150 which tells us that you don't have any education or else you would know that this is a procedural generation and a nothing more than a tech test and the game engine allows us to have better graphics than any naruto game on the market atm so yeah, you shouldn't talk unless you know what you're talking about.

    And we are doing this on our own free time so we can't really go as fast as big companies with millions of $

  • @maitrelame2 It's not just your own free time if you're aiming to do this for profit, that makes it a job. And if you're unable to complete the job with your current resources, do what it takes to join a big company. You're clearly biting out more than you can chew if you're imagining doing this as "a hobby". Game design takes time, I agree, so not investing in it 100% is bound for failure, and I'm surprised you haven't realized that by now.

    I am pretty sure game devs in big name companies earn a whole more than 900$, why the fuck would they take the job if it was such a low amount?

    If this guy is so useless, and you know better, you should try making a game engine which at least allows you to transform a 3d character around a flat plane.

    I bet my whole life savings that you couldn't do something as 'simple' as that, so shut your trap and let the professionals get on with their work

  • using voxels for jutsus? mhmm i inly would use voxel for terrain and other "fixed" stuff, nixe graphics but movement at voxels allways was, and will be a problem!
