The Dragonfly Attachable Handcycle is the most affordable way to turn your everyday wheelchair into a handcycle. Our unique "Quick Dock" attachment system easily transforms your chair to a handcycle and back again by connecting and disconnecting four latches. Our patent pending design ensures easy on and off of your everyday chair. The handcycle uses many off-the-shelf standard bicycle parts, which make it easy to service. Designed to fit most folding/ rigid, adult and pediatric chairs.

Features:

* 1, 3, or 7 speed hub versions available.
* Powerful coaster brakes.
* Promax lockable parking V-brakes.
* Lightweight alloy rim and parts.
* Kenda Quest all tread tire.
* Shorter alloy crank arms fit a wide range of riders comfortably.
* Precision sealed bearing ergo handles are great for all hand sizes.
* Sealed cartridge bottom bracket.
* Tough KMC Z-chain.

  • Hi Mushroomjesus,

    Thank you for your honest comments. Yes our attachable handcycle is much more recreation oriented then, race oriented.

    Our goal was to design a high quality, entry-level attachable handcycle that was both price friendly, and convenient to use.

    I like to call the Dragonfly Handcycle, "A Gateway to Handcycling."

    So many times we get calls from users that always wanted to try hancycling but didn't want to shell out for the big price tag.

    Enjoy your new handcycle!

  • this is very cool but i actually need the opposite for my 11 yr old son, foot pedalling vs hands. any suggestions appreciated. was wondering if i could get some off the shelf stuff to attach to his wheelchair? paid 1200.00 for a n amtryke that wont work for him. hes as big as i am and cant get him into it.

  • hog

  • what is the phone number you can call to order the attachable handcycle and what state can you get it from and where can you get it from?

  • Love it. G

  • @starkneked: Maybe you don't like it, but lots of other people do...instead of whining and complaining, why don't you sell it to someone else....make some of your money back and give someone else the chance to use the handcycle

  • Awesome. I'm not in a wheelchair, but I am looking to get upper body strength via cycling. Any ideas?
