Yes cars emit co2 when burning algae fuel but ance algae need co2 this is a good thing

KVlai, I'm a little late but to answer your question in a much less rude way than Badfishbassman, when algae fuel or biomass is combusted it too releases co2 for the algae to feed as does the processing of the algae into fuel itself. The fact that algae is alive and coal is dead algae only means we have an opportunity to mimic nature here and make energy production a closed system

South Africa will have, thanks to the callous World Bank, at least 3 new highly pollution producing coal power stations in pristine parts of the country. As long as loans are allocated to countries run by self enriching corrupt governments who are only interested in making millions for their children and grandchildren, we may need this technology. What is the status on the tests?

The algae get the CO2 from coal power plants and then turn it into fuel. They say its carbon neutral. But when the fuel is put into cars and planes, doesn't that emit CO2 again?
