Tuning the turns on a micromouse is just plain tedious. There are several types of turn. Each has a radius, speed and angle to set uip as well as the lead-in and lead-out distance. It takes hours to get these right. In spite of all the testing and tuning, I cannot seem to make them consistent.

  • you tried tu use the exact same desing of Ng Beng Kiat (Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore) right??.

  • pretty much, yes.

The motors were the only ones available and the sensors are suitably simple. After that it is all details.

  • These are Faulhaber 2224 DC motors. They have 4:1 gearboxes and 512 puls per revolution encoders on the motor shaft.
