Metroid Prime Playthrough Part 1: Exploring the Space Pirate Frigate

We explore the Space Pirate Frigate up to the point right before the Parasite Queen.

(I could've included the Parasite Queen battle, but then the next video wouldn't be as long. This way, this video and the next one are more evened out.)

This is NOT a speed walkthrough. It is, however, a 100% walkthrough (hopefully). If you need to get 100%, then this is the gameplay series to watch.

One-time scans (if you miss any of these before you battle the Parasite Queen, THEY'RE GONE FOREVER!): Parasite, Pirate Data (Fall of Zebes).

Limited Opportunity Scans: Map Station (there are only four of these in the game (I think); once you use them, they become unscannable. If you use all of them without scanning them beforehand, you lose this scan FOREVER!)

Tips:

Once you enter the Biohazard Containment, turn to the left, and there will be a computer panel you can scan. This will turn off the Auto Turret that will otherwise shoot at you once you walk around the corner of the giant tube holding a Parasite Queen (this Parasite Queen won't attack you, by the way).

When you enter the elevator in the Cargo Freight Lift to Deck Gamma, charge your beam; a Space Pirate will suddenly fall right in front of you and attack you shortly after you get out of the elevator.

@TheXcaliburN Yes. Unless you don't care about the scans, it's possible to get all energy tanks/missles without scans.

A playthrough is just as it says, you watch the person play through the game. There are no special helpful tips or all coverage of secrets hidden. A walkthrough is a guide, the person helps you cover all areas of the game. Most youtubers get that shit twisted and mixed up and will put playthrough and talk through the whole video and on every video they upload.
