This is cool. They were the first rock concert I ever saw (Maple Leaf Gdns, Heads or Tales tour)...a night I'll never forget! Thanks for the memories!

Michael Sadler the Best....

Maybe the drummer can't hear well enough, I'm older than you are by more than 10 years, a retired pro keyboardist/drummer/vocalist, a music degree, played prog rock and rock since very early 70's and some nights I couldn't hear the beat to save my life. I would work hard trying to watch the bassists hands, or the guitarists. From my experience if you blessed you can reherse a week and tour the world, it'll come. All the best.

You are so right! Live isn't perfect. But it's allways fun!!
They will visit Swedenrock festival this sommer and i will be there!!!

since it isn't steve negus on the drums, it's not a fair critique of the band. i'll agree he's not as tight with a group of guys who have their history as their original drummer would be, and that this version of the song suffered quite possibly as a direct result, but you aren't a fan of the band or taking their music seriously to say steve negus' work didn't compliment the overall sound of the band.

Well, maybe at this show, I can say the last 9 shows I saw him he played it really well, but he played it his own style...
-
How long does it take to learn "wind him up"? Couldnt he use a timing machine?
I'm no drummer but you can tell he's way off....
-
The only problem is that it isn't Negus drumming... It's the canadian drummer Chris Sutherland wich replaced Brian Doerner for the tour... And he learned the whole setlist in a few days... so...
Studio is for the cosmetics...live is for the appreciation of the music and performer. This isn't heaven, it's not perfect, and I don't expect it to be. The show was great, not perfect, but enjoyable. Cheers!
