  • Hey Rich, im at the same spot what this car is at. Sounds the same while trying to start. Just did this check because I was guessing CPS, but I got sparks. Any idea on where to go next?

  • @PVKmedia9 If you have spark then it could be a fuel problem.Have you tried spraying some starting fluid in there and see if it will start on the fluid.

  • I ran this test and seen a spark at the coil/CPS but it still has issues starting, and when it does stay turned on, it still shuts off. [Bleep] is it the cps still, alternator or starter, and or ignition fuse? I also recently changed the spark plugs what do you recommend?

  • @ChicanoCW This is very difficult because i am not right there listening to how it is running.

  • rich, my car wouldnt start, not even cranking. What happen was i took out the alternator and put it back. After putting it back, it wouldnt start. What might be the problem, the car was working fine before that. Thanks

  • @PJON214 What do you have for battery voltage.

  • every thing is working but no sound of the motor starting and we have already replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor

  • @Sharae020 Heres what happened with my car,I removed the air intake system so I had an open Throttle body.I pulled the fuse pump fuse &tried to start the car.Well it did start(it was the 1st time in2days)of course without the fuel pump it died after a couple secs.So I put in a NEW fuse and performed a fuel drain start(thinking the engine could be flooded)Hold the gas down&turn the key, it did start&ran rough. Installed air intake back&took for a ride and car has ran great since.

  • @PVKmedia9 I am having the same problem but the one thing i haven't tried replacing yet is my camshaft position sensor which i was told could be the problem. I am going to try that and see what happens. My car sounds just like this one in the video.

  • @richpin06a I wish i had a better reply, but I was messing around with the car trying different things and bam it started again! Hopefully it will stay that way!

  • @blue96734 im not the owner of this video! someone else is i had to replace the CPS, spark plugs, spark plug wires, Coil, backplate Coil and, still working on the issue because my saturn still isnt working. I am gonna check the wires, and try to find the short, and hopefully i dont have to replace the computer.
