I saw Odetta first in 1964 at the UCLA folk music festival. I saw here last on October 2, 2008 at UCLA - one of her last performances.
She comes from an incredibly insightful, spiritual and soulful place and her voice and presence reflect it so powerfully. Thanks for posting this.

I had the priviledge of being in the front row for a 2004 Odetta concert and was totally blown away by this "new" addition to her repertoire. Blessed be this wonderful angel for all her earthly gifts to us!!!!
