@thefearedESK The BD-2 is technically an overdrive. The other guy asked how he got distorted sounds so I used the word distortion. The BD-2 is tricky. It sounds like a distortion or even fuzz when you turn it way up. Less is more when it comes to that pedal. For smoother overdrive isaac uses a volume boost pedal to overdrive the amps clean channel. But he mainly uses that for fast chords in a lot of songs. The main recognizable tunes are all made with the bd-2.

@gpchris95 that makes so much sense. do you know if he uses any kind of overdrive?

@FrothyLoins123 The only distortion isaac uses is the boss bd-2. It's a tricky pedal to use though. He usually keeps the gain lower and rips on the guitar. Doin the cockroach actually has the gain at zero. That's how the picked notes are clean and the chords are dirty. This song is more about delay. The delay isaac has used even since the good old days is the boomerang e-155. It is one of the most unique delays I have ever seen. Isaac will also use the boss ps-5 to create unique pitches.

Holy moly they nailed this. I love nasty parlor tricks but this quite beautiful. Does anyone know how to distort your guitar the way Brock does during the solo?
-
Anyone else think Nasty Parlor Tricks is extremely underrated?
-
1:01 that was kinda weird to say the least. (I'm not hating, just saying it looked kinda weird)
-
I know they've had two drummers for a while now, but did they clone Jeremiah?
-
Easy...why don't you stop hating on people that you don't know and just enjoy the music.

one more time
JP & JG killed this. The whole band did but I really liked the percussion specifically.
