I was in Meade again on this hot summer day when the temps had reached 103'. At 6pm it was still 98'. My first catch was A-GBPX as he came through town headed west. For whatever reason the Nathan horns on this unit are LOUD! They are cool however and you only hear them on the SD70ACes. I heard the dispatcher tell this train to take the siding at Missler, KS (5 miles west) for two eastbounds. After waiting for over 20 minutes for Z-CIG1, he finally arrived. I think he saw me setup east of the bridge, but I got no horn. Oh well, sometimes that happens.

The wind was really howling and I wondered if the video would be any good or if the audio would be one big roar. The external mic and windscreen are really worth the effort.

Thanks for watching!
