Improvising over backing track

Man you really have some great skills, but I agree with the guy who said your phrasing is a bit off. You really need to listen to the music and see what notes need to go where. That was a slow backing track and it didn't need to have infinitessimo notes all over the place to get your point across. Please don't take this as disrespect because you are a much better player than I am technically, but just because you can play fast doesn't mean you have to all of the time.

Don't listen to these guys. Keep the Confederate flag flying!!! And the dimebag-style bluesy metal solo! I don't understand what makes asshole liberals think the rebel flag represents racism. It's all about the south all the time and has never meant anything remotely racist, so fuck off you elitist assholes!!!

@sr1129 HOLY FUCK What dip shit you are. Read some real history man. Slavery was an issue on both sides at the time of the civil war. The north made it about slavery AFTER the war. Your precious de-slaver Abe said "I am not now, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social or political equality of the white and black races." and "I am in favor of assigning the superior position to the white man." Slavery was an issue across the board. The issue was about money. READ A BOOK

sorry to burst your bubble but the confederate flag was flown by those whom believed so heartily in their prejudice ways that they went to war over it and damn near killed a third of the U.S population so they could enslave others. Not to mention the thousands of ex slaves they killed after the government passed the laws setting them free. Oh right and the radical KKK was also bred from the same flag flying region. I lived in Bama for 3 years, dont spill that bullshit.

Ok, I get it! You're good!... Now quit trying to show off and try instead to find a heart and soul of the song. This take reminds me of an American Idol contestant, trying to get in all the tricks inside of 2 mins. (I play gtr too by the way... but I'm prob better at criticizing others than I am at playing :-)

how did you get the black sharkfin inlays? i don't think warmoth carries those, did you order it from jackson?

Is this guitar made from Mahogany? I'm looking at making myself a Warmoth in this shape but with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Do you think the tone would be thicker sounding at all? Cheers dude!

The body is Mahogany with a spalted maple top. The neck is birdseye maple. I don't know if that combo of mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard would enhance the tone or not.

i thought warpig would lack highs
i was completely wrong :S
is it the ceramic version?
i have a holy diver (16k alnico version) and a cold sweat neck
what are the woods of this warmoth?

It's got plenty of highs. I chose not to get ceramic, but the Alnico V. The body is mahogany and it's got a spalted maple veneer on top. The neck has a wizard profile and is made out of AAA birdseye maple.
