Merry Christmas, everyone—or, if you're practical during November, Happy Thanksgiving!

In honor of these special holidays and the end of the year, I am attempting to film the Disney Princesses all over again—and this time, I'm dressed for the occasion.

"Christmas With the Princesses" comes to a close with Princess Aurora, better known for her role of "Sleeping Beauty".

As you are already aware, or if you're not familiar with the "100 Years of Magic" celebration in 2001, "Sleeping Beauty" was the last animated motion picture to be overseen by Walt Disney himself before his death in 1966.

For those of you just joining YouTube, here is this Princess's story:

The Three Good Fairies—Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather—join King Stefan, his Queen, and the rest of their Royal Court in the festival celebrating the birth of Princess Aurora. (The name means "dawn", and she was rightfully named, because as she grew up, she filled everyone's life with sunshine.) However, furious over the fact that she was not invited to the party, the evil witch Maleficent crashes the celebration and invokes an evil prophecy: Aurora will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel before the sun sets on the day of her sixteenth birthday and immediately die. Fortunately, the evil witch had crashed the party just before Merryweather had had a chance to bestow her gift upon the infant Princess, and so, she altered Maleficent's prophecy so that Aurora would only sleep until her one true love broke the spell with Love's First Kiss.

The story was adapted from the edition written by French author Charles Perrault and its music and dance scenes adapted from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Sleeping Beauty Ballet".

With a remake of "Once Upon A Dream" created by the all-girl singing group No Secrets—and another by "Hannah Montana" star Emily Osment—and a Golden Anniversary DVD currently available, "Sleeping Beauty" is as enchanting today as she was when her movie was first released to the public in 1959.

And now, here she is again, together with her number-one fan, for another "Golden" Photo Opportunity. (Note the change in attire. ^^)
