Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and the country's largest city, with a population of some 450,000. Bratislava is the political, cultural and economic centre of Slovakia. It is the seat of the Slovak presidency, parliament and government as well as home to several universities, museums, theatres, galleries and other national economic, cultural and educational institutions. Most of Slovakia's large businesses and financial institutions have their headquarters in Bratislava. The city's past has been characterized by the strong influence of various peoples, including Slovaks, Germans, Hungarians, Czechs, Austrians and Jews. Bratislava still retains its cosmopolitan spirit. It hosts many festivals and trade shows and it is famous for its nightlife and leisure facilities.

  • nechapem prečo na slovensku je tak malo turistov vsak je to nadherna krajina a nahodou (okrem petržalky ) ani blava nieje až tak na tom zle...

ale som slovak a som hrdy na svoj národ!!! :)

  • How dare people compare Slovakia with Hungary. Hungary is an ugly asian country and Slovakia is a beautiful European country. Romania and Slovakia are brothers for ever!

  • Bratislava is lovely, but for real hidden gems you must travel outside the city and into the smaller towns. The people are so friendly, and the scenery is breathtaking. It's beautiful, and very similar to New Zealand (my country) but Slovakia has much more history.

  • Well, I was never in Bratislava yet, but I saw very much of photos about the city on the web, and I think Bratislava is a very beautiful, and quickly developing city. I need to visit there in the future anyway.

  • song name pls :)

  • @Hungaria56 Well better than you speking Turkish and also Slovak mixed in one :)) But i take like bow, from bastard like you, thx

  • @Hungaria56 I was trying to communicate intellectually but you´re an asshole so I´m done with you

  • @emgee39 Oh yes, congratulations, I forgot about the Nazi puppet state of the tóts.

  • @TheSlovakfan You should shut up, you only speak a primitive czech dialect. And, no, we are not Slavs, or Turks.
