that look like a nice run what a beautiful day out too. can't wait to get my GT3 out on that bad boy!!!!

Yeah, it's not perfect, but you people seriously just need to be grateful for anything we can get in this day and age of the nanny state, a dwindling economy//middle class, extreme litigiousness, etc. Racetracks are getting shut down or restricted faster than they're being opened.
Anyway, there are GP tracks narrower than this track. With race fields being as weak as they are today, just be happy if you even have to worry about three-wide not being possible.

the place needs a Oval and motel.

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway is awesome! A safe track with tons of character. We at Orange County Race Craft love it. I can't wait till you build some buildings so all of these whiners can get off the track to relax and make more room for us! Congrats on the great job Micky.

I for one, certainly love the layout of the track..I only hope that I can make my out to West Coast to be able to enjoy it myself at some point in time.. I sure don't mind bringing an extra 5 gallons of water along with my 15 of racing fuel!! ;)

Heel toe...no?
Nice track and well done getting it all together. My only concern would be visual braking points or depth perception due to the wide open spaces.

might be there April 17th

looks awesome! cant wait to ride it!
and as for QWK99R....really dude? your complaining about a new track? maybe you should ride firebird and talk about boring and flat.
Do y'all have any plans for a race org there yet?

Congratulations on the opening of your new track. It is so difficult to get any new venue approved, financed and built, so you guys are owed a BIG debt of gratitude from the motorsports community.
I'll be there with the 'two fools' in a couple of weeks and am really looking forward to experiencing the track. Thanks for this video, hopefully it'll get me somewhat up to speed before I arrive.
Again, congratulations!
We certainly need more roadracing tracks in SoCal. Glad to see they took the time and expense to add concrete curbing at the corners (something Willow Springs needs to do). But it certainly looks like a small time, narrow lane track day facility...
Another flat boring featureless desert track in the middle of nowhere that I don't want to have to drive all day to get to, then park out in the hot sun and bake my brains out?
Hopefully they have the money to build full paddock facilities.....

Well QWK, I guess our video doesn't give our track justice, because it is actually 4 feet wider than most southwestern tracks being 40 feet wide and it also has 38 feet of elevation changes, including blind, on-camber and off-camber corners as well as a 10 degree 811 foot long banked oval - at 2.7 miles it is anything but another flat boring featureless desert track in the middle of nowhere. We invite you to come check it out for yourself, our paddock amenities are listed on our website.
