Braking, trail braking (continue the braking into the corner), charging out of corners earlier, and hauling (and tucking) on the straights...the video is kinda slow, actually. I was running 2:08-2:09 the day you were there. Ty has the record of 1:46! Just bought a 600RR for track only, too, might be able to charge out a bit faster.

Being my first trackday ever, I'd have to say I really didn't notice it until later in the day on my last two sessions.... As a side note, I actually used my lap timer and only got down to 2:30... You just ran a 2:23 in your video... Is it all in the braking? That's where I want to improve the most...

I know this guy with a Red 954 and Ford Ranger... We met him at a Dickey's in Roanoke... he might not recognize the ZZRgirl screen-name, but we ride a daytona 675...

Pretty old video now, but yea, the surface looks pretty bad. They have done a lot of work to it, but some places look like a patch work quilt. Cresson probably has the best surface around.
