I strongly encourage those who make this argument to stand up for consistency and to take their chances in a truly free and just world rather than making the argument for keeping the patently evil entity called the state for fear of true liberty.

Maybe it just seems easier to be a minarchist, but the ideas are contrary to the very basic ideals of libertarianism.

  • You aren't discussing a working Republican Liberal Democracy, but perhaps describing plutocractic-oligarchy or corporatocracy, which is what we have in the USA and which some suggest is the inevitable evolutionary outcome of any system of government.

    The argument for a Republican Liberal Democratic state is what most people claim to argue for without realizing they exist in a plutoarchy.
