Some words by the initiators of this project:
"When something terrible happens, most people do not really know how to respond: where to find positive energy if everything around you is drenched in grief? That's what you need friends for, to love and comfort you and find new warmth and inspiration.
For this reason, we set out for immediate action. In 24 hours, Tom composed this Kyrie for Norway, and in the meantime Bertram organized a memorial concert. After one more day, with help of social media, we had formed a choir consisting of some seventy, mostly professional singers, and St. John's Cathedral offered to organize a memorial service in which the Kyrie for Norway would be performed. The church service was featured on Dutch national television. Part of this service was a very special message provided by Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
We want to offer this gesture of love and warmth to the Norwegian people, and especially to those who have lost a loved one. This piece of music is dedicated to their loving memory."

Behandel de medemensen in alles zoals je wilt dat ze jullie behandelen[1]". Deze is niet gericht is op iets laten, maar op iets doen. Bijbel: Mattheus 7:12 en Lukas 6:31.
Dit een een mooie uitvoering in de praktijk ervan. Prachtig lied en heel mooi gezongen. Dat het ze veel steun mag geven.. Want idd, je bent niet alleen!
