FFVI Advance - Leviathan Strategy - CASUAL Playthrough

This is the battle with the esper Leviathan from Final Fantasy VI Advance. This battle is exclusive to the GBA version, and can be broken down into a relatively simple battle, even with low level characters. I used no walkthroughs, no exploits, and did not powerlevel any of my characters. This is just a standard, regular playthrough of the game.

If you have played the game before, be it on the SNES or PSX, you may know that the Tortoise Shields (that drop from the Basilisks near Duncan's house) absorb water elemental attacks and give a high amount of evasion (but due to a bug in both previous versions, the regular evasion skill never worked). You should have one of these for every member, and equip Prayer Beads on every one of them as well for extra evasion. Top it off with Fenrir and Golem, and you'll be untouchable. After you have thrown down your espers, start unloading on him, for he'll be powerless.

It's highly advised that you pick up Phantom Rush for Sabin, for it does MASSIVE damage, and makes the battle go a lot quicker.
