It took me about 10 to 15 tries after the first run to get it. I kept making fairly retarded mistakes, most of them on Morph Moth and Overdrive Ostrich. Kinda makes me wonder if that first run was based on pure luck. I had the other bosses down though. You would not believe how happy I was to get this done =)
[Morph Moth]:
In 3 of my attempts, his laser would hit me when he was on his last few ticks of health. I thought my fully charged buster shot would finish him off in one of those attempts, but nope, he lived, and I just stood there and took the hit like a moron. I almost lost it during those times; I was hoping to get past him so I could finally move on to the other bosses. There were a couple instances where after dodging all the falling trash, the cocoon would land right on top of me. "Arghh!"
[Wire Sponge]:
Fairly simple, didn't worry bout him too much. I would start to panic a bit if he started jumping towards me. The close distance puts me at greater risk of being hit as I would have no idea of what he was going to do.
[Bubble Crab]:
What I thought was one of the hardest bosses, is now one of the easiest. I forgot that the water was there during the first encounter with Bubble Crab. Definitely makes it easier to jump over him. Though I did get hit a couple times with him suddenly running into me.
[Flame Stag]:
As I said before, a very fun fight. I'm used to his level of speed so this fight's nothing to worry about.
[Magna Centipede]:
Generally, I have no problems with this boss. Definitely a close call during the perfect run; I almost got poisoned right off the bat.
[Crystal Snail]:
Not threatening at all. He can only damage you through his aerial tackles. He spends most of his time shooting crystals which relieves me of worrying about getting hit.
[Overdrive Ostrich]:
He actually gave me a bit of trouble after that initial run. The redesigned slopes are more favorable to his leaps now, and thus makes those leaps more difficult to avoid. It's best to stay around the trough since going uphill while he's leaping equals bad. Other than his jumps, that's about it. For me, it's about a 50/50 shot of making it past him without getting hit, depending on when and where he decides to jump.
[Wheel Gator]:
The easiest of the bunch. All of his attacks are easy to avoid and the fact that he stands there makes it even easier to no-hit him.
Anyways, Woot!
Almost forgot, these are not just the same bosses you fought in their stages:
[Morph Moth]:
Slightly wider room (not by much).
[Wire Sponge]:
Considerably smaller room, both by height and width.
[Bubble Crab]:
Lowered ceiling and added instant kill spikes to that ceiling.
[Flame Stag]:
More narrow space.
Flame Stag starts off with his desperation move - Burning Adrenaline.
[Magna Centipede]:
Raised ceiling.
[Crystal Snail]:
The height of the room has been reduced.
[Overdrive Ostrich]:
New landscape, more inclined slopes.
Overdrive Ostrich starts off with his desperation attack - Sonic Burst.
[Wheel Gator]:
No changes to the room.
Wheel Gator starts off with his desperation move - Drill Bite.
I don't know the names of their attacks, I'm just making them up as I type along.
These are fantastic!!
