@kmvtcamera To quote IIHS for the 2008-2009 Ford Taurus. "Dummy movement was well controlled. After the dummy moved forward into the airbag, it rebounded into the seat without its head coming close to any stiff structure that could cause injury."

their airbags are really soft.... the occupants heads always almost go allthe way through them and almost hit the steering wheel... i would like a car with stronger airbags but i have a ford edge/lincoln mkx, and its still awesome!!!

1:33 - this is one Ford airbag that won't kill you... heck I wouldn't mind it randomly going off (except they're expensive to replace)

@Stere0123 well the airbags would go off depending on the direction of impact, e.g. in a front impact with just driver, just the driver's airbag goes off. look at 1:34. it works quite well.

i have one of those. there are so many airbags, that you wouldn't die from impact, you'd die from suffocation.
haha, jk. anyways, this is a very good car. comfortable, safe, and it looks cool :P
