Tool - Reflection (Drum Cover)

So I wanted to post a progress video on my attempt to learn this BEHEMOTH of a song. It's long, technical, and a pain in the ass to decipher as far as how it's played. I watched alot of vids of Danny and I'm pretty confident I have the basic groove down properly. The problem comes at around 7:50 where it's very difficult to decipher what Danny's playing in the album track, and with every live performance he plays it differently, aside from a few key points. I tried to put my own "spin" on it to finish off the track, but I need more work getting comfortable jamming along to the last 3-4 mins of the song. The basic groove is amazing though. Once you get comfortable with it, it feels more like dancing than playing. I'll be posting an updated cover soon I hope.

Been playing about 4 and a half years.

@OnePremier no prob, my one gripe is i wish you would would have done the fills Carey does in the last few min of the song. Some of the rolls are so beautiful and add so much to the song. But you played the main groove correctly, and thats all that matters. I guess if we could play as good as Carey, we'd all be rock stars by now.

MAN, I know how frustrating it is to try and get every sound that Danny makes down, especially when you have half the drums he has in my case. XD (so that basically means covering a Tool song is impossible for me now!)

It would be sick if you could cover Rosetta Stoned man, that would be ridiculous
