naw, the drum is nice. It gives a nice pump without overshadowing the rest of the mix. (unless you want the kick to be the focal) Or, you might be talking about the seemingly lack of interesting percussion? Try some syncopation. but i think its all good. You might need more low end stuff.. as in you have one particular low bassy kick sound that you use periodically, and it leaves a nice undertone, but then it disappears and the mix sounds hallow. Just a suggestion...
