  • Hello all, I just found this video of Maurice, didn't know they were filming. I am the bass player just right of the drummer. Yes I'm the bald dude, and Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs were one of my favorite groups to perform for. I am now retired from our band named Counterplay rock and soul band. I worked for over 65 national acts, but was the main band for The Contours for over 11 years. I am now retired due to degenerative disc disease and scoliosis. I will never forget Maurice!

  • i really love this song....lucky i found it and thanx for upload.

Thank you for sharing with us. Sorry to hear you have medical prob's but you have great memories i'm sure.

  • Never heard this version before although I was told Maurice first sang it when he was 15, so a few years ago then ! :-)

  • I remember listen to this song and others , by Maurice & Zodiacs and other doWop/R&B groups when I was a youngster (B1952. I'd go into the living room and spin the dial on our radio to find rock n' roll and R & Blues gospel and Blues. My mother being a church going person would come in and turn it down or off and set me outside. She should listen to what the young people sing about now!!!

  • @MrMotownbass Did you also play in the rock n roll graffiti show from the late 90's?

  • Aren't you being a bit harsh with that last post?

  • THIS IS THE WORST VERSION OF THIS SONG I EVER HAVE HEARD!

  • Maurice Williams is just as good today as he ever was He will be appearing in Charlotte NC on August 20th>>>>>>>>>> got my ticket and cant wait This is real music done in good times
