This was just wonderful. The choir did a fantastic job. I loved the registration for the organ. It's a song like this that calls for the most beautiful stops in the organ! This is definitely one of my favorite songs.

this is my favourite hymn. i cry when i hear it. it's sad song at parts but also one of love and hope. the words used are so inspired. The words allways bring such a strong image to me. I was 10 when i first heard it. This was the song that made me want to go on a mission and also help me grow my love for the hymns. this is the song i wish was sung more, but i geuss that once in a while makes this piece of art more special, at lest in my eyes.

One of my favorite hymns for sure. It was just played at my aunts funeral and everytime I hear it I think of my brother who past away as well and how the " Sheperd" is off to the rescue. Thank you for sharing

This was my Baptism song way back in 1976, also my parents' baptism song and my children's.
It was also sung at both my parents' funerals. I want it played at mine too.
