Test Drive Unlimited - Tantalus

Arguably the toughest race in the game TDU. Done with a Enzo Ferrari, and driving aid as 'sport'. Played on a Dell Vostro 1400 notebook with nvidia geforce 8400m gs. For a detailed view, see :

How much fps would i get?

4GB RAM

2.5ghz dual core processer

ballpark 40+ fps with 640x480, low details, and 30+ fps with 800x600 medium detail. you seem to have penryn (45nm) which should be a killer. (i have 1.4ghz t5270 :).)

aside : try 'riva tuner' to push it to 600mhz core and 700mhz memory. it then almost matches 8600m gt :D. game is light enough to handle overclocking. temps soar around 90 C, which is okay (card auto-throttles at 103 C.) suggestion - use it for fun and not regularly. (ps : can also boost windows vista rating to 4.4 :p.)

Looks great and very fluid, I wonder if I can upgrade the video on my vostro, since I got the Intel GMA option

thanks :). can almost consider the upgrade as a no, but should be possible - getting a graphics card mxm module and opening up the notebook to fit it - provided the motherboard has the mxm slot.

I have the nVidia 9600M GS with 2.26 GhZ on my laptop. How many FPS will I get on high settings, or the same settings as you have in this video?

more drifting :D but its good =) the only thing I dont like in tdu is, that u cant custamize ur cars :( more painting and vinyls are much better I think but its a great game!
