For the high voltage i used a flyblack transformer and for the vacuum chamber I used a glass bottle hooked to a cheap vacuum pump.

  • I would like to see a video where you slowly evaporate the glass jar.

Do you have a vacuum gauge?

  • @MucusFelidae no, i wish i had a good vacuum pump or something to get low pressures. this pump sucks, but someone gave it to me for free. if i had a good pump, id build a fusor and crt.

  • Plasma + nitrogen + low pressure = purple fire :)

    Awesome vid.

  • This is pretty cool.

  • You can get a used refrigerator compressor and use it as a vacuum pump. You can pick one up at the dump for free.

  • @usernameABCDXYZ Thanks!

  • @blackmesa25 used a flyback transformer for the high voltage, an old medicine bottle i found laying around for the vacuum chamber, and a cheap/ free vacuum pump.
