Filmed over the course of six years at some of natures most spectacular locales—from Mt. Rainier to the Olympics, Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon—this documentary is a story of the people who devoted themselves to the land they loved.
My friend Americans, you shouldn't think that only USA has democratically founded national parks. She said "in some parts of the world" there are rich benevolent founders but that doesn't mean USA is more democratic wildlife reserves. I'm afraid she uses that as proof. It feeds the belief that USA is the most democratic country in the world. Infact from my point of view, I don't know any park anywhere in the world which hasn't been founded by the government.
