@samdjzapanta You can do both. Apps for books are $5 to $25 depending on if your getting just an Ebook or an Ultra Ebook. The Ultra books have added games etc. you p-lay to help the story continue. My 5 yr old loves her new Leap Pad and her now several years old Leapster 2.I hope more apps are added SOON!!!

hello, my 6 yr old daughter loves to read and i guess this is the best learning tab rather than buying books..with this leappad can we download stories online or we have to buy separate cartridge for the stories?
