  • Leon can do any genre. He is awesome but no one ever thinks about how many performers have done all of the songs he has written. Mind-blowing!

  • Leon Russel is not only a singer, musician, song writer, and arranger. Very glad to here the kind words by most of you not being born when he was in his prime. His music is timeless. God bless EVERYONE.

  • @juanunderground Perfectly said!

  • When you see in the past people so talented such as Al Kooper, Leon Russell, Isaac Hayes, and Gino Vanelli. you ask yourself what shit is happening with new generations that seem that the high art legacy in jazz, rock, and pop music they have they throw into garbage like they were self-sufficient. If in The USA, no one do something, the glorious liberal times in The USA will be an old history. Let's try go into reflection!!

  • I 'm glad he put this one back in his show. Incredible version of a great Dylan song.

  • Man this is the Blues! No Super Session, maybe old Bob can do it better.

    GREAT!!!!

  • @nakidsoul Indeed.

  • @judecreek2 Warner Bros. turned out to be such pimps...

  • quite pleased that this was cut before delta lady, never could take to that song.

  • yet another performance I have been carrying in my head all these years, shame I didnt notice this from May. with Jim Horn and Don Preston's solos so perfectly vivid in my memory, as well as Leon introducing "now I'll play a little one for you" what joy it is to hear it again.
