Thanks man! I need that hope right now. I'm entering my 75th day of being sober. Still catch myself wanting to escape to the make believe "painless" world that happens after a few drinks. I have to keep reminding myself that I only keep getting more hurt because of the seeming painlessness. It is better to be sober and to come to terms with the pain and deal with whatever is causing it. It must be great to be helping other people get over it. I thank the Eagles too for their song "Get Over It":)

Thank you! God bless you! I cant believe how similar you're Awakening towards the end" ...I too was addicted, started at age 12. until i was 31..its was a slow road to hell. I have been through my own horror..your "nightmare" I too, thought I couldn't live with out a drink but, it IS POSSIBLE. I have been about 3 years sober now and love Life more than ever before! YOU CAN TOO! .. you're not alone...Life has just begun, Love your self to Live right! Today! God bless you
