Mate, if you didn't know John Howard & the liberal Party planned to introduce sweeping workplace reforms as soon as they were able (read non-hostile senate), you obviously didn't open your eyes between 1974 and 2007. The reason it didn't come up in the previous campaign was that no-one in the party expected the senate result, and so were not hopeful of being able to achieve that goal..
As for Iraq, what was labor Rudd's position at the time after seeing the same intelligence as the Govt?

As someone who has worked in Parliament house this year and seen der fuhrer when the cameras aren't watching I can say I have never seen a more autonomous, and arrogant leader of an australian political party, let alone the country.
