SLO Transit Alexander-Dennis Double Decker Demo Bus

West Coast Transit Presents a ride on the double decker demo bus from Alexander-Dennis. The bus has a cummins ISM+Voith 864.4 This bus ran on SLO Transit's route 4 for a month on a test to see if the public liked the bus. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo campus is off of this route and well uses this bus during crush loads during the school rushes. This is the same bus that was at MUNI running on line 10 earlier in 2008. The bus was at APTA in San Diego and came to San Luis Obispo after the show. So come and take a ride with me on this bus. This is Part 1 of this video.

Yes, this is the same bus. It was down at APTA in San Diego and then stop by San Luis Obispo, CA for a month and now is up in upstate Nevada.

This is sooo cool! I used to ride a lot of these in Hong Kong a few years ago. It was a blast to ride upstairs, in the front and feel the sway! takes some getting used to! thanks for posting!!!
