An issue I have been experiencing with World of Warcaft graphics ever since the Cataclysm release.

The problem was that my computer had DirectX 11 installed, but World of Warcraft was set to DirectX 9. Simply change 9 to 11 (hehe) in your Video Settings in-game. If you can't even reach into the game because your game is constantly crashing, you can set the options in the login screen (with Deathwing queefing). If you can't even reach the login screen. you'll have to delete the Cache and WTF folders in your game directory. The WTF folder will wipe out all your settings (not your addons, don't worry) and I think your macros as well. The cache you won't even notice deleting.

Unfortunately, the recording was cut short due to WoW crashing...

  • Metaru,

Regarding the 'moving' effect on buildings, try typing the following in game to switch modes:

    /console gxcolorbits 24

    /console gxdepthbits 24

    /console gxrestart

  • Switching to D11 doesn't work.

  • lol fail
