This song is such a beautiful expression of God's expectations of us. I love Amy Grant. I love that she was strong enough to stand with her hands held out and up amidst judgement from people who really have no clue what God is TRYING to tell them! Marriages go bad, sometimes for reasons that cause another hurt, sometimes just because we are imperfect beings doing our best and our best isn't ever enough. After 30 years of failed relationships of my own, a song like this is life giving water.

For all you judgmental boobs out there, you know nothing of what was going on in either home because you weren't there. It's none of your business. It is between them and God. You either like the music, or you don't. If you don't like them . . . don't listen. But read your bible about judging others. It's a real eye opener.

I just love them both to death. I grew up in a strict Christian home and Amy's music and discovered Vince right out of college. Became a bit of a hell raiser myself, but their music got me through some very tough times. Real people...amazing talents...and I am a truely grateful fan of them both separately and together. They are just the kind of people you could sit and talk and laugh for hours. Amazing!!!!
