There is no alienation. It is their own behavior drove their own kids away from themselves. Anyone who believes alienation, they are idiots. Parental alienation is totally created by a pedophile defender. It is totally not scientific. It is ridiculous!!! As long as you are good to your kids, they will never go away from you. Only your bad behavior and wrong doings drive your kids away from you!!!Idiots!!!

This so called expert lady is an idiot. She obviously has no understanding of what its like to be alienated or how to curtail the problems.

Mothers commit most child abuse and child murders according to the vast bulk of scientific studies and real stats.

Isn't it ironic that those studies ignore the extra flood of moms' abuse represented by the fact that moms commit the vast majority of false abuse allegations (against the other parent - dads) and thus likewise commit the vast majority of integrally tied parental alienation child abuse which always accompanies false abuse allegations.

The child's choice to avoid dad is most often the result of parental alienation manipulation and abuse BY moms.

Most Judges and GAL's are too PC to admit or deal with that ultimate abuse of the child, thus leaving the child with the real abuser - MOM in most PAS cases. The child ends up a problem for the community and more likely to end up a ward of the state even as an adult. We all pay for the PC "justice" system allowing the child to pay for their entitled abusive mothers on pedestals

The court has done the damage just the same or worse than the alienating parent.  There are no legal remedies when women get the "GET OUT OF JAIL FREE" card. That is nothing less than babies for bank.

implicitly, though, everybody knows that the system is skewed towards women, no question about it. Most of the times, men move on with their lives. For women, it is harder especially if she ends up with the children(as most of the cases ends). The legislature, unable to admit through legislation this fact, turns around and supports women based on the vague and unworkable "Best Interest of the Children"

bottom line, the system does not respond to nature: children are better off with their mother until they reach a certain age, then they are better off with their father. If the law reflect this in a categorical way, mothers and fathers will not fight. this "Best Interest of the Children" standard is what keeps attorneys , judges, psychologists , CASA and the rest of the army of destruction humming.

Dr. Baker suggests the website that no one knows is there. When she and her mother see it they will say "How dare you!?" I'm coming up on four years of litigation, and 4 court orders that do no more than a wrist slapping. Contempt? No court will ever throw a mom with custody in jail! My orders demand the "family therapy" options. I have four orders "ordering" therapy; mom knows she can just ignore them, and nothing will happen. Wake up Dr. Baker. Please. Your female-partisan slip is showing.

Dr. Baker's suggestion to the father was go to the post office with the child and mail a package to the child's house. What? My daughter's were 10 and 12 when my ex started alienating the kids against me, and they are not going to wonder just what in the hell I'm doing? I can hear, "Dad, for one, why are you buying a card with me. You didn't think of this in advance? And, why are you mailing it to me? I'm standing right next to you?" Dr. Baker's suggestion makes absolutely no sense at all.

Dr. Baker is completely naive. Not happening mostly to men? Her position is the same as racists in the early cases of race discrimination. You really think without the empirical evidence that white America did not realize that racism existed? 70-plus percent of divorces are filed by women, and even the lawyer on this panel admitted that there is a biased in the courts towards mothers. Does Dr. Baker truly believe that women don't realize this heavy bias? Wake up lady, please.

This is a house of cards that the alienating parent is building. Now, this can be demolished at any time, because the alienating parent becomes a slave to the child's wishes.

Keep on fighting for your children even if you are going to lose. After they turn 18, try to clear things up and demand from your children action to correct the damage done. They bear a responsibility to put the alienating parent to the consequences of that parent's action. In one word, alienate the alienating parents.

DON'T EVER STOP fighting for your children! You, as the targeted parent, must continue being the "good" parent and RESCUE your child from the depraved and mentally ill parent who is abusing their own child!

My lawyer (in New York) is making a big difference in my case by fighting my spouse on an entirely different basis, and my ex now knows that his/her days of PAS and abusing my children are OVER! More importantly, my children are now understanding what happened, and why. That's priceless.

As the father of an alienated daughter, I strongly agree with vigorously fighting for either custody or 50/50 physical custody at the onset of divorce, at the earliest stage possible. IT IS THE ONLY PRACTICAL WAY to counteract parental alienation. The courts don't have the answer, are unwilling to act, and are a waste of time and money. Fight, fight, fight. And YES to mandatory 50/50 custody in ALL cases.

By the way, I am from Singapore and also a victim of Parental Alienation.
