There's probably no topic more universal than love -- from "Lan Yu" to "Brokeback Mountain" -- the desire to be loved is often what propels us forward. Just as in the straight world where finding a long term relationship is often the goal, there are many in the LGBT community looking for a long term partnership. However, there's a perception that in the gay male scene, lasting relationships are more easily susceptible to breaking down -- why? Some think there are larger societal causes; some think it may be genetic; some think it might be caused by gay identity issues; and some think that gay men are just predisposed to continually seeking out their own freedom. We're going to look for our answers from real life, and in this episode, we'll hear from three gay guys from three countries -- all deeply in love -- and all ready to share how they're keeping their romance and relationships alive and active over the long haul.
