  • I like that she doesn't rush the song. She's in no hurry to get to the end of it, and I'm not in hurry for her to, either.

  • @jaytlr9 Yeah ... I'm with you ... I'm never in a hurry for Doris to get to the end of a song !! Happy you enjoyed !

  • I'm really crazy about her magazine covers... guess you could tell that !

I love this lp too - to me its kind of her Sinatra-esque album - do you know what i mean ? I love Steppin Out With My Baby - The Lady's In Love With You and Why Don't We Do This More Often. LOVE THEM !! I am such a crazy dayniac !! lol

Thank you ... hope you have a lovely Day too !!

  • Another great one, Toni!! :)

I have to say, Cuttin' Capers is probably the Doris Day album that I listen to the most--and this is one of my favorite songs on the album (my other favorite being "Let's Fly Away". :)

Thanks for sharing, Toni! Have a lovely "Day"!

  • Her Cuttin Capers album has some really great songs on it. It kind of reminds me of a Sinatra like album. But to me - she was probably the equal of Sinatra in the 50s' -- as far as being a successful movie star and recording artist.

Thank you -- really happy you enjoyed !

  • I have always known that Doris Day sounds really mesmerizing. This recording endorses her versatility as the queen of jazz singers. Thanks for posting this clip. Few singers sing as well as she did decades ago.
