Part 1/2 of level one in my C&C Tiberian Dawn: The Covert Operations - Nod walkthrough.

This campaign on average, is harder than the GDI one, this is because of the fact that their units are obviously stronger, and yours are now weaker. It requires alot more Sandbagging them in/ Sandbagging them out kind of levels. I still think Twist of Fate is harder than anything in this campaign, but the average difficulty level is higher across the board.

Anyway, on to this level the base building aspect is quite important. You first need to get working on an Airfield, and as soon as that's done a Buggy to go on the bridge to kill the Civilians before they reach you. You also want to get an Obelisk or two out as well as two Refineries. Once this is done, send out a Stealh Tank to get the crate just north of their base (come in through the south side). Once you have the crate, get a Temple of Nod out, and once your nuke is ready, make sure you hit the Construction Yard and War Factory. Sell your Temple immediately.

Now for what I did... From building up a base, gearing it towards teching up, and defence, to scouting out their base and claiming the money crate with a Stealth Tank. Finally, I build a Temple of Nod, and once the nuke is ready I take out their Construction Yard and War Factory, Barracks, a Helipad and a couple of other minor structures. The video ends with me selling the Temple, as it's no longer of use.

You could of course Sandbag them in and claim the many Tiberium fields, but it's not necessary on this level, and trust me it's nice to not have to Sandbag in this campaign.

  • @sedgie09 That happens because turrets/obelisks are targetted first by the iron cannon AND the nuclear strike. It's a common method to place a turret far outside of your base to prevent the nuclear strike from destroying anything of your base. Just make sure you don't have any other turrets/obelisks.

  • fucking music woooo

  • When ever i try and build an Obelisk on this mission it allways gets owned by there Iron Cannon for some reason.

  • Perfect Nuke! ConYard / Factory / Barracks down in one shot
