dutchblue are peachfaced lovebirds and they are not actually blue, they're feathers are green and have a blue tint on the tips. There is not an actual blue color in them.

Hey! I have this pet peach-faced lovebird and i want him to shower also. I put him in the sink with the water on but he just goes back up to my hand. I also spray him with water but he doesn't like it. how do i encourage him to shower? or maybe he doesn't know how to shower? how do i teach him or encourage him. any suggestions? please help, thanks! your knowledge is appreciated :)

May i know how old is ur lovebird? From my experience(i kept 3 lovies, 2 budgies) all birds will bathe on their own. Its their natural instinct. My lovebirds take a shower ard 3 time a week. Normally I will put a container & they will shower on their own. Hope this helps =)
